PuttKeep: Course Scorecard Termsputtkeep.com

Archived: version 1, effective October 1, 2026. These terms were for the one-time offer. They still apply to anyone who paid under them. Everyone else: see the current terms (version 2).

What it is

A scorecard for your course that runs in the phone’s web browser. Players scan a QR code, no app download, no account.

Price

$149 one time per course, plus any sales tax that applies. Each extra course or location is $99 one time.

What’s included

Hosting commitment

We plan to host your scorecard for at least 2 years from the day you pay, and we intend to keep it running after that. If we ever decide to stop hosting it, we will:

  1. email you at least 60 days ahead;
  2. send you a free copy of your scorecard files that you can host yourself; and
  3. if we stop before your 2 years are up, refund the unused part of what you paid, pro-rated by month, if you ask.

That is the full extent of our hosting commitment. Short outages caused by our hosting provider, the internet or players’ phones are not a breach.

Changes

One free update each year, counted from your payment date. Send all your changes (pars, colors, logo, sponsor line) in one request. After that, $25 per request. We usually make changes within 7 days.

Optional extras

Each extra is a one-time charge unless it says “per year.” Nothing renews or charges you automatically.

Free trial and payment

Your free 30-day trial starts the day we send you your working link. No card needed. Near the end of the trial we email you a Square invoice for $149, due in 14 days. You pay it online through Square, by card or any other payment method Square supports. Don’t want to keep it? Tell us, or just don’t pay. You owe nothing. If the invoice isn’t paid by the due date, the scorecard shows a friendly “taking a break” message. Players’ phones keep their saved games. If you don’t continue after the trial, we keep your setup for 12 months so you can pick up where you left off. You can also ask us to delete it anytime.

Refunds

If you’re not happy within 30 days after you pay, email us and we’ll refund the $149 in full through Square. After that, payments aren’t refundable, except as described under “Hosting commitment.” Printed signs are made to order: if one arrives damaged or wrong, we’ll replace it. If we can’t make a paid change, we refund it.

Privacy

Players don’t make accounts. Names and scores stay on their phone, and we never receive them. Course owners: we use your contact details only to talk with you about your scorecard. Full policy: puttkeep.com/privacy/

Who we are

PuttKeep is run by an independent sole proprietor based in New York, NY. The seller’s legal name and address appear on your invoice, and that seller is the party to these Terms.

Mail: 608 Fifth Avenue, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10020.

Email: [email protected].

These terms are version 1, effective October 1, 2026.

Your name, logo and content

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, the course name, logo, colors and any sponsor or promo text you send us. You let us use them only to build, host and print your scorecard and signs. We won’t list you as a customer or show your logo in our marketing unless you say yes in writing. You’re responsible for your sponsor text. We may decline content that we think is unlawful or that we’re not comfortable hosting.

Players and safety

The putting challenges are optional and just for fun. You can turn them off at any time. You run your course and set its rules.

No warranty

Limit of liability

Ending

You can stop using PuttKeep at any time. Just take the QR down. We may pause a course page if an invoice goes unpaid, or if the content breaks the law or these terms, after we email you. The sections on content, warranty, liability and law still apply after it ends.

Law and disputes

New York law governs these terms. If something goes wrong, email us first and give us 30 days to fix it. If we can’t settle it, either of us can use small claims court, or the state or federal courts in New York County, New York.

Whole agreement

These terms and your invoice are the whole agreement. If we change these terms later, the version you paid under still applies to what you already bought, unless you agree in writing.
